MONTREAL SCREW JOB - BRET HART VS SHAWN MICHAELS

They say wrestling is fake. But nothing could be more real than the events within the saga of the Montreal Screw Job. Ok, Bret Hart is my favorite wrestler of all time. I expected him not to lose in his hometown. And I abhor Shawn during those days.

I've had my shares of heartbreaks, no pun intended involving Bret. There's the Diesel debacle. His humiliation from Jerry the King Lawler, and Hart Foundation losing to the Strike Force.

But nothing compares to the screw job. It felt during that time that I was also screwed. In hindsight, I did not understand how I'm really affected by it. Well, that's part of history and my history.
