POWER MAN AND IRON FIST REVIEW - CULTURAL BREAKDOWN

Luke Cage, Hero for Hire, transforming into Powerman, and Danny Rand, martial arts experts/ dragon powered Iron Fist. Together, they team up as one of the underrated, and strange couple of the 80's.

Power Man and Iron Fist

I can't help but remember the Blaxploitation and Bruceploitation movies whenever I see them. At an initial glance, they are seemed to be the stereotypical Asian martial artist, and African powerhouse. But in their storyline, they are more than that, and their stereotypicality is irrelevant.

They are hard core justice.
Bass Ass Power Man Justice (Wadd u lukin at?)
Also, they are a combination of brute strength, and finesse. Reminds me of most tag team wrestlers.

I heard they are having a netflix series. Great.

As for the toys,Iron Fist is one of my favorites in the toybiz era. It has great sculpts and articulation, especially if you want some martial arts poses.

Power Man is good. Despite, and probably because of the color combination, he looks mean and bad ass.
Power Man is from the Marvel Legends MOJO BAF series.
While Iron Fist if from the APOCALYPSE BAF series. All of which are in the 6" Marvel Legends Series.
